Hello engineers for the future of AV production

My name is Luke, hailing from Pittsboro North Carolina and I'm looking for some basic resources here to get started. I do not come from a programming or formal engineering back ground as I am more of an "end-user" audiovisual specialist that works in live event production and recording. Im not looking for the easy button, just need to know where I can start this journey, as I'd like to be ahead of the curve. I can see that NDI and Dante will quickly be rendered obsolete as the engineers here develop and maturate this as a standard.
