Does Milan require and works with AVNU Certified AVB Switches or also with other AVB Capable switches like for example from Netgear or Motu?

Milan requires the use of AVNU certified switches

For your information. Milan Certification is only for endpoints and not for switches. Therefore you will not see "Milan Certified Switches", only Avnu certified switches as mentioned above.

Update on this topic: NETGEAR M4250 switches support AVB and are AVNU certified - and therefore qualify to work with MILAN.

Milan-certified devices work with any Avnu-certified devices.
